Who can do this?
Only the user (instructor or administrator) who embedded the interactive media can see the student responses to the polling questions. If the same piece of media is embedded by different people, those different users will only see those responses that came through THEIR embed.
After you have posted your interactive media into your LMS/VLE and after students have responded to the embedded polls, you will want to view those responses. To see them, go to your Echo360 Library and find the media you want.
Click on the media to open the media details page. THEN click the Polling tab at the bottom, as shown in the below figure.
The Polling tab has two drop-down lists. One to select the LMS/VLE Course the media is posted to, and one to select which Poll you want to view the answers for.
Once you select each of these, the bottom portion of the tab provides two sections with response data.
The first part shows the question, the response selections (if applicable) and for multiple choice questions and ordered list questions, statistics about how many students responded with each possible selection.
The second part lists each student along with their response to the question. It also shows WHEN that student responded. If a student simply viewed the polling question but did NOT respond, the response column reads "Seen". If the student has not viewed the media up to that polling question, the response column reads "Unseen". This is shown in the below figure.
NOTE: Students cannot re-submit their responses to embedded polling questions. Once they submit a response, they are shown their answer along with the correct answer if one is identified.
The student response table can be sorted by each column. In addition, for multiple choice questions, the top area of the polling responses has checkboxes for each response option. Use these checkboxes to filter the student table to see exactly WHO gave the checked response.
Finally, the list of student responses is paginated, showing 25 responses on each page. If you have more than 25 student responses, scroll to the bottom of the list to see the paging tools, and move to the next (or last) set of responses.
